The Sword and the Faith
The eyes are projectors. They cast a picture of our worlds to others. There are people who are screens who allow the pictures of life to be reflected. I often feel like a billboard. As if I am a stationary, non-judging onlooker, always observing. I watch, listen, feel, and smell all that travels by me. My life, at times, feels like a comic book gone James Bond. I secretly wish I was a superhero with magical powers. I often wonder why others open up to me and bare their souls. Why do I have the honor to have such depth shared with me? The answer is this: I am a projector, a camera, and a screen. It is a gift. A gift to be shared.

My Mariah Flower <3
My frootbat pictured here at 2 years old… it’s going in the yearbook for her Senior Tribute by Parents. What should I say as a caption? Help!
My friend and I cut flowers out of her neighbors flower bed and buried Mariah in the colorful mums, tortured her, and took this picture along with many others.
I love my Mariah Flower <3

The MCRmy Killjoy mission statement is incredible and the message simply amazing!

MCRmy & Killjoy Mission Statement: Killjoys and Soldiers stick together. They do not put each other down, and they definitely do not gang up on each other. Understanding is key and without it, we are nothing. Understand is key and without it, we are nothing. Understand why you are a part of the MCRmy …. Do not judge and do not be little each other. We are a family and families stick together. “Bird of a feather flock together” Our feather is My Chemical Romance ♥

We will SING to MCR with you and love MCR with you! NEVER HIDE WHO YOU ARE!! You are truly beautiful to us, Your a SOLDIER and a KILLJOY…
WE ARE THE MCRMY, THEY WILL NEVER BREAK US

~From the video FANS by AmbivalentSaves (Youtube)

The F.A.N.S. Project, or Friendly And Non-prejudice Society Project, was designed for fans of My Chemical Romance, and any other fanbase who were ever mistreated or bullied by other fans, and to help guide those fans who do the bullying. This is a message sent out by the whole MCRmy to the MCRmy and people all across the world. To us, it doesn’t matter what you look like, what you’ve done, but who you are, and how you treat others. Look alive sunshine, because you aren’t alone…
we don’t own the rights to the soundtrack used.

Teenage Necrophilian Love: Pumpkin Spice Kwik Trip Guy Adventures.

I was totally here for this… it’s the holiday beverage saga at kwik trip… creepy creepers creepin on us just cuz we like the pumpkin spice, and now the nog… what’s next?

manriah:

I’m going to start documenting the weird shit that this guy who works at Kwik trip does and says so that if I go missing, you’ll know who did it. This dude started working at the Kwik Trip nearest to my trailer park about probably….. 3 months ago? And he made small talk all through September and I…

Sad Day

Sad day indeed :( So many friendships made through the music and the shows. Thank you Q101 for bringing us from the land of cheese to the windy city for some of the most EPIC shows. My Chemical Friendships Forever! Thank you for all the My Chemical Romance shows, the Twisted Xmas’s and everything in between.

tsukiomi:

My favorite Alternative Rock Station in Chicago called q101.1 is no longer airing. And it was the only radio station I would listen everyday when I was a kid and on my laptop. Sad Day is sad. R.I.P. Q101.1 :(

Lettering by tattoo to come, from Pink Floyd’s The Final Cut:
“Somewhere in a foreign field a gunner sleeps tonight”

This is a tribute tattoo on my daughter. for my Padre, her “G Playa” Grandpaw who was 1st Calvary Division of the infantry in WWII & Korea, Purple Heart, Bronze Star, CIB, and too many medals and ribbons to mention. Staff Sargeant, Information Specialist, Combat Soldier.
Yesterday we honored and remembered those who have served, some who gave all. Went to the parade that Dad would ride in the Purple Heart car, to the Memorial Day service where they read his name on the roll call, played taps and watched another soldier lay the wreath in his place. We spent the afternoon with Casey, a combat Marine, my Dad’s friend. We went to the American Legion where we did shots of Aquafit, a Norwegian imported liquor made from potatoes. The sun was high and the heat was on so we moved along to the VFW for barbeques and conversation with my Dad’s friends.
Mariah spoke to Casey about the tattoo she wanted. Casey got a tribute tattoo for my Father the night he passed, October 14th 2010. Casey made the day more memorable than anyone could imagine. It was also my Dad’s birthday. He was born on the original Memorial Day. He enlisted at 15 years old. He was proud to be a soldier. Casey made sure, that by days end, as the sun was setting in the West, that my daughter would have a part of her Grandpa with her.
Casey said to me, when he texted the photo of his tattoo tribute for my Dad, his friend and brother in arms, “When you have a tattoo for someone’s legacy, you carry them with you, and take on a part of them forever.”
